Crossroads Restaurant & Bar

The original Emil’s Sports Bar and Pizza was established in 1978 by the Bowes family, with the idea that people in the community have a cozy eatery where they could relax and enjoy great food with friends and family at affordable prices. Since then, Emil’s Sports Bar and Pizza in Mundelein has become a staple in Lake County.

In 1986, the Bowes family purchased The Ivanhoe Inn, a cozy tavern just west of Mundelein at the crossroads of 60/83 & 176. The now CROSSROADS OF IVANHOE offerings include a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. CROSSROADS has become well known for their Fish Fry, Garlic Steamed Mussels, Giant Mozzarella Stix, Breakfast Skillets and many Homestyle Daily Specials.
