How to get your Google review link
Way 1: from your Google Business Profile (easiest)
- Sign in to the Google account that manages your business.
- Search Google for your business name, or open business.google.com.
- Click Ask for reviews (sometimes "Get more reviews" or "Read reviews › Get more reviews").
- Copy the link – it looks like
https://g.page/r/…/review– and paste it above.
Way 2: with your Place ID (no login needed)
- Open Google's free Place ID Finder.
- Type your business name and pick it on the map.
- Copy the Place ID (it starts with
ChIJ) and paste it above.
A normal Google Maps link (maps.app.goo.gl/…) doesn't open the review box directly – use one of the two ways above. You can still turn a Maps link into a QR code if you just want people to find you.
Tips to get more reviews
- Ask right after a good experience – when the job is done or the bill is paid.
- Send the link by text or email the same day; reviews drop off fast after that.
- Reply to every review, good or bad. It shows customers you care.
- Don't offer discounts or gifts for reviews and don't review your own business – it's against Google's rules.
Frequently asked questions
How do I get a link for customers to leave a Google review?
Open your Google Business Profile, choose "Ask for reviews" (or "Get more reviews") and copy the link, or find your Place ID with Google's Place ID Finder. Paste either one here and this tool turns it into a direct review link and a QR code.
What does the review link do?
It opens your business on Google with the "Write a review" box and star rating already open, so customers can leave a review in a few seconds.
Is this QR code free? Does it expire?
Yes, it is free and it never expires. The QR code contains your Google link directly – there is no redirect through our site.
Where should I put the QR code?
On the counter, receipts, invoices, business cards, table tents, delivery bags and email signatures – anywhere a happy customer will see it right after the service.
